DREEL CASTLE  Lodge & Council  No. 171  Anstruther

The combined Installation ceremonies of our L&C and CC will be held on Tuesday 29th October at 1900hrs when I take the chair of W.C.Noah (L&C). For the year 2003 we will divide L&C into two parts; Royal Ark Mariners in March and Red Cross at a new meeting in September.  Actual dates are under discussion.

At the moment rituals are used extensively and my thinking is that with six months between degrees we have a chance of learning some ritual and better understanding the workings.

I have requested sponsorship from St Ayles Lodge No. 95 in the form of a "peppercorn" rent and I am hopeful of this being granted.

This is not an overnight cure and could take several years but I do feel we have no right to accept what has become "the norm" knowing in our hearts it is our duty to try a wee bit harder.

I must record my gratitude to our members for their support in accepting the changes I have proposed and their willingness to give it their best shot.
