JOSIAH'S CENTENARY REDEDICATION

On the 20th February 2002 Josiah RAC No 10 was rededicated on its centenary. Deputations from SGRAC and PGRAC were present.

The deputation from Supreme included F.G.P. Lord Elgin, D.F.G.P. F. Sandilands and T.G.P. Rev. J. Clark.

The deputation from Provincial comprised G.S. H. Clelland and all of the Provincial Commissioned Office Bearers.

 


ANTHONY NOLAN TRUST

The Province has raised around £860 for the Anthony Nolan Trust. This charitable organisation is involved in the funding of work in the field of bone marrow transplantation. Provincial was alerted to the activities of this charity by M.E.C. George McKay P.Z. whose family has direct experience of the organisation and whose granddaughter is actively involved in fund raising for it. The amount raised includes £80 donated by Dundas R.A.C. our Companions in the province of Stirling & Clackmannan.


Buckhaven, Rosslyn and Elgin Chapters'  Annual Dance will take place at

07.30pm on Friday 19th April in Lodge Balfour Melville, Methil

Prudence Chapter's Annual Dance will take place at

St. COLME R.A.C.

M.E.C. George L.C. Conner Scribe E. of St. Colme R.A.C. No.105 intimates that a Three Way Degree will be worked at

07.00 on Friday the 26th April 2002.

The three Chapters that will be taking part on that evening will be:-

St. Colme R.A.C. No. 105 - Affiliation to the Mark,

Strathbrock R.A.C No. 237 Broxburn - Excellent Master Degree,

The Abbey R.A.C. No. 415 Edinburgh - Royal Arch Degree.

The venue is the Masonic Lodge Burntisland and all Companions are welcome.

 


St. SERF'S R.A.C.

M.E.C. Brian Ness M.E.Z of St. Serf's of Dysart R.A.C. No. 514 intimates that at

07.30 pm on Tuesday 1st of May 2002 St. Serf's will be working a Royal Arch Degree with Reigning and Past Principals.

The venue is Freemasons' Hall Dysart and all Companions are welcome.

 


LODGE HOPE OF KURRACHEE No 337

Fife's Research Lodge is to hold its second symposium. This year it will be a one day symposium.

Associated with the symposium there will also be a Craft Lodge Meeting and a Dinner.

The programme is as follows:

07.00 for 07.30 pm on Friday 3rd May 2002 Young Masons' demonstration degree at the Freemasons' Hall, Quality St., Dysart.

09.30 for 10.00 am on Saturday 4th May 2002 Symposium at the Masonic Trust, Kirkcaldy.
