a message from the provincial grand superintendent
Companions,
My first message set out the intended direction for my term as Grand Superintendent and I am pleased to report steady progress over the past year.
The stated aim of maintaining strong relationships with the Provinces around us has been vigorously pursued and my team has covered many meetings and miles during the year all over Scotland. To enhance this aim still further we intend to host an Inter-Provincial meeting in February 2003 when we will invite some of our neighbouring Provinces to witness an Exaltation and then indulge in some Royal Arch harmony. This will allow us the opportunity to pay back some of the hospitality received and also to have some visitors to Fife for a change.
A Provincial Grand Chapter Meeting was held in Rosyth this year and it is my intention to hold the February meeting each year in a different Chapter in the Province. We will meet in Elgin RAC No.469 in February 2003.
The support mechanism to assist struggling Chapters has been designed and distributed to the Chapters in the Province. This will allow cover for every office and ensure that Candidates are receiving a good first impression of Royal Arch Masonry.
I hope that the web site will be well used again this year and look forward to reading your opinions.
Hugh
